Kudos to TopBucks, thought this was worth posting.

It has happened before, it will happen again. Shitty I know but what can you do?

I think the thread's title, "TopBucks shaving" may be the source of the confusion...

Gotta admit, I had the wrong idea myself when I saw that.

I do a steady 1-50 or better on several of their sites so haven't too many complaints. Gotta admit though some days you do wonder.... :) In general though they're one of the best sponsors out there - for me at least. Only reason I put them in my sig.

...and there's a point to using a per click proggie? Never has or will make much sense to me. If I can't make more from a sponsor than any per click out there would pay I don't use that sponsor.

I used to promote their sites back in the days when I used to work with traffic. Their gay sites would always convert like 1:60 and pay $40/per. That's when they were using CTC. Wow... those were gooood times!

The point is it attracts people that can't so the math themselves - or start out new. I started per click - as it was nice to see money every day. I agree with what you are saying - once I started making sales - I dropped the per click - and made 4 times the money.

Sponsors need to make money too - and of course - if you have decent traffic - you will do better per signup.

If you have hitbotter proxy traffic - that won't get counted.

People tricked to click are less likely to click on to the second page.

They have too much fraud and crap traffic to pay people that have decnt traffic a good price per click - enough to where it would be worth it.

Which is more or less why I said it. The math is pretty simple so I've never had much time for people saying any per click program shaves as I figure were they bright and able to make the call with any accuracy they probably wouldn't be using per click in the first place.

Either way though despite the ups and downs I have no other sponsor converting 1-50 even if it is 2nd page counted. Mind you it depends where the traffic comes from as with everything. Lucky to make 1-800 with teen TGP traffic.

Try not to get too excited. For you to get that number of second page clicks you probably had to get 5 to 10 times as much clicks on the first page.

Plus topbucks batches their stats so its not unusual to see sales 1 day to 1 week after you generated them.

Forget ratios, money talks. TB rulez. They are working hard to make my checks fat ;)
