Should I use CCBill for my non-adult business?

I like CCBill because they are a plug-and-play solution for those who have an affiliate program. However, their fees are pretty high because they specialize in adult. Is it still worth it to use them for a non-adult business, or are there services that are just as good out there that have lower rates for regular businesses?

tical 04-12-2008 05:23 PM

probably not, any bank can get you set up easily with an online solution (authorize, etc).

if you need a call center, just use netbilling... they are very good what they do

F-U-Jimmy 04-12-2008 05:32 PM

I use X-Charge for my non-adult stuff Just stay clear or Card Service Int as they use First Data Bank to process and we all know who they used to process for !!!

Iron Fist 04-12-2008 05:44 PM

Mainstream would be lower :) More volume/sales etc...

Yeah, but I need an affiliate program where tracking and payoffs are all handled by the processor. Netbilling does do that.

tony286 04-12-2008 09:03 PM

The ccbill mainstream product looks good.

Catalyst 04-13-2008 12:57 AM

yea.. I was going to start looking.. for a main stream product to do billing in a month or two

basschick 04-13-2008 03:54 AM

ccbill does do non adult, and if you like 'em, why not use 'em? depending on what business you're in, some mainstream sites don't need to pay that $750 fee.

fris 04-13-2008 07:38 AM

ecsuite looks nice

mikesouth 04-13-2008 10:47 AM

I would never pay those rates for a non adult business. Unless your credit is horrid a merchant account isnt hard to get and its cheap.

SABAI 04-13-2008 12:05 PM

i use 2checkout.com for all my mainstream sites , they are way cheaper than all the others and they are really reliable ... they pay every week or on your amount release choosen.

Have you used it? Is it the same as CCBill?

ccjax 04-14-2008 11:25 AM

Same engine as CCBill, but different product and market - drop me a line and I can go into specifics.

gary at ecsuite.com or
gary at ccbill.com

baycouples 04-18-2008 08:06 PM

I went with Gary at ECSuite.com - very happy so far!

rayadp05 04-18-2008 08:11 PM

CCBill are great to use for an adult website but for a non adult website...I'd say go with someone else.

2checkout.com

Tanker 04-28-2008 08:59 PM

We use www.ecsuite.com to process CCBTools, ECsuite is exactly the same as CCBill it even has an affilaite program and CCBTools works with it.

here is a working example of site using ECsuite to bill and CCBTools to power the marketing efforts for the affiliates.

We charge less than 2CO and you get paid daily if the merchant account is in the US.

Thanks, Mitch

Bump for ECSuite

brandonstills 04-29-2008 11:46 AM

CCBill has a sister company that handles more complex billing but still uses the same affiliate system. Give them a call and ask them about it. I forget the name of the company.

cem 04-29-2008 12:22 PM

Too bad you cant charge higher then 99$ /month with ecsuite :(
