I spent a week in Kansas a few years ago and all i really wanted to experience there was a tornado. It didn't happen when I was there, but the week AFTER i left was one of the busiest tornado seasons they had in a while. Let me know how it is if you luck out and experience it.

Well, as weird as the weather was the tornadoes avoided us. I guess I need to find some time in my busy schedule to go track them down myself.
