Sex.com Taps Tom Hymes to Develop Consumer News Channel
 

Escom, LLC, the company behind the new Sex.com, announced today that it has hired Tom Hymes as its News Director.

Hymes, who will also provide PR services for the company, will be responsible for developing the Sex.com News Channel and will also help develop and produce exclusive Sex.com radio and T.V. shows for the site.

The Sex.com News Channel will ultimately provide a comprehensive daily menu of breaking news and information of interest to contemporary adult audiences, as well as more insightful and entertaining stories, interviews and features about celebrities, modern culture and, of course, the adult entertainment industry.

I also agree "SEX NEWS" is not something that would work on sex.com. It's been idol for what? 4 years now and every few months we hear news that "some person" has been hired to make Sex.com a success story.

Gary had the right idea, Sex.com = adult ppc system for adult webmasters. Sell the traffic to those that can use it. Or run the biggest fucken adult vod site on the net. They have a great name, but they have just let it go down and down.

I really hope for Tom's sake he can get it back to a traffic rich site.

Now, now, wait for the concept at least before dragging it through the mud by assuming things.
Tom's a great asset to any company so I haven't a doubt about the fact that they WILL try creating something of interest to consumers. Will it pan out as expected? Time will tell.

Not to disagree with anyone here. But if you look at the success of Gay.com, It has all the Gay content in there but yet it looks like a mainstream front.

I have a pretty good idea what they are trying to do with Sex.com and if it's what I'm thinking, It can be a very profitable and user friendly.

Again, Just my opinion.

Really do hope something comes great out of sex.com

Gay.com is a great looking site. The mainstream front doesn't matter. the main thing Gay.com does is it caters properly to the audience and it is really themed as a gay personals site.
