Merchant Software - Miva?

I'm looking for reccomendations about a shopping cart system, it seems that Miva Merchant looks good, but I am ignorant, I have just forever used PHP shop. Time to upgrade, my own merchant account now, and I need scripting to match.

I need one that supports an afilliate program, and a bonus would be one that integrates with ensim to support webhosting as well. But that is not as important as a great shopping cart script.

Any reccomendations, suggestions?

I know, the evil yahoo empire, but their shopping cart is decent (once you can figure who to tweak the pages in RTML format ;))

I started with IBill for my shopping cart, but they wouldn't process anything but U.S. and Canada, and I missed a lot of overseas sales. Then switched to PayPal, and have been very happy, they only take about 2 1/2 %, money is in my account in just a couple of days. I'm not sure, but if I remember, they can also set up "distributors" (i.e., affiliates?). Plus, all changes can be made directly to html script. Very simple stuff, yet seems to work great.

Only problem now, will I have to pay another $750.00 to them?

I guess I was kinda unclear, I already have a merchant account. I don't need a processor or a biller, I just need the script such as Miva, or whatever you guys suggest. That's what I am lookign for advice on. :)

Go to Comreach.com and check out "Commission Cart". It's supposed to be good. I use their SMPro bulk mailer, and it's excellent.

That looks ouststanding. That is exactly like what I want, however Kinda dumb it only supports 2 payment processors, and no custom ones.

Yes, I agree, but I think that has more to do with the 3rd party processors set-up. I will definitely be getting it myself if PayPal wants $750.00 from me, as my main proc. is CCBILL and I'm not paying $750 twice. I'll just have to hope CCBILL will allow me to somehow tie it in with them, otherwise I'll only be able to accept m.o.'s for my content sales. :Grrrrrr

Try www.x-cart.com.

Its PHP and fully customisable. You can integrate all your own PHP processors if you understand PHP or I think they will do it for you.

There is no documentation but I found the code is pretty well documented.

Its got more features than most programs that cost 3 or 4 times as much.

Haha, I was just looking at it. Looks wonderful.

Just purchased X-Cart. $240 with affilliate module. I am very happy, it looks like great software. Plus, it's PHP, which I know well. I am not comfortable at all with CGI.
