Adult Payment Processors

Hi all!

Long time listener, first time caller =)

I have a number of clients (1000+) who run adult content websites. OMG, is this allowed on GFY ;) Many of whom (running ecommerce shopping carts on osCommerce platform) are starting to have problems with locating a payment processor that permit adult tangible products. When once there were many, the list has greatly dwindled - for example, Webstream, Paycom, Paymonde are no more (but the list goes on and on as most in the industry can attest). One client did find one: GTBill. Another client found another (Checkout), but they are located in Bulgaria with support (which apparently is horrible) outsourced to Australia - shouldn't that be the other way around ;) I suggested GTBill, and he is going to try them out.

Does anyone have any suggestions for other processors that allow for the sale of adult-related tangible products? Thanks!

i use everyone cept da ccbill guys cause it dont converts fo me

Tatiana 04-10-2008 01:18 PM

As I know the most popular are CCBiLL and Epoch, also Authorize.net

VSDan 04-10-2008 01:33 PM

As I understand Authorize.net requires a merchant account, which if the case, is difficult and expensive for adult-related sites. I have got ccBill to work for many of my clients, but for some reason, some cannot get onboard with ccBill. But yeah, ccBill is definitely on the list with GTBill. I guess they need to end in "Bill" - nope that cannot be - vise a vise, iBill ;) Thanks guys for the input!

www.netbilling.com will handle anything

VSDan 04-10-2008 01:41 PM

Thanks for that! I seem to recall client using Netbilling, but it went south. Could be easily wrong as I've been through so many names of billing companies that they are beginning to run together. I'll have to look into it. Thanks =)

www.paysite-cash.biz if your client has a EU company - works fine for me

VSDan 04-10-2008 02:42 PM

As a matter of fact, they are virtually all EU, so bookmarked. Thanks!

Hi Dan,

Do you have an email or icq I can contact you at?

fyi...you have a comma where a period should be in your Virtual Solutions link.

Hi Dan,

We process for many many adulat and mainstream companies selling products that use OScommerce and other carts. There is an NETbilling/OScommerce module as well. Please contact us. We can help all of your clients in need and set you up as a referring partner as well if you are interested.

Thank you

50 euro? 100 euro? no idea, i was never that low :winkwink:

but i have received every single payment every 2 weeks since one year now.

when i heard in the beginning that it's french people with the company based in Estonia i was a little worried, but after being fucked over by canadians (paymonde) it couldn't get much worse. et voilą - to my surprise it's been very pleasant so far

b-h-e.com does tangibles.

I believe their processing rate on it is 10-12%. Contact Phil. Let him know I sent ya.

No chief... I'm not.

I have them do my DVD's. The only other place I have found is clips4sale's DVD store, and they take 40%.

Finding an adult processor who will deal with tangibles is difficult to say the least. Finding one who will authorize over $100.00 a transaction is even more difficult.

Not everyone is doing $10,000.00-20,000.00 a month and can get merchant accounts Mitch.

If you are selling tangibles (products to be shipped in the mail), there is no monthly minimum. Can I help you?

Mitch

VSDan 04-10-2008 09:46 PM

@Mitch Thanks for the heads up regarding comma link, fixed =) You can email me here: dan at monster-submit dot com

And thanks everyone for the other suggestions. Gotta go before that flashing wildcamcash.com banner just below the Quick Reply box sends me into seizures =)

Of topic: I am from Bulgaria mate and I must say that you shouldn't expect anything good and reliable coming from a Bulgarian company.
Cheers !

VSDan 04-10-2008 11:03 PM

Well, I do not want to diss Bulgaria. I've heard some great things about Bulgaria from people you have visited there. But this one company was distant and not very responsive or forward in the way they conducted their business. However, I seem to be compiling a good list to pass over to my clients.

pornask 04-10-2008 11:06 PM

Since you're Canadian, you may want to look into Verotel. Also Zombaio.com sounds interesting, just not many adult webmasters have had experience with it.

VSDan 04-10-2008 11:57 PM

Not for my company (we use 2CO and PayPal), but my clients who are largely EU-based. But, thanks! More to add to the list to check out.

dready 04-11-2008 12:11 AM

Have you tried Moneris?

VSDan 04-11-2008 12:27 AM

Nope, haven't heard about Moneris. What is the URL of their website?

pornask 04-11-2008 12:31 AM

moneris.com - they are major providers of financial services throughout Canada. You can see their debit and visa machines in many stores anywhere you go. They were rejecting in adult for the longest time, but last I've heard, they've opened up a bit.

VSDan 04-11-2008 12:41 AM

Ahh, yes I have seen their ATMs. They appear to be limited to the Canada and US. However, I do have a number of Canadian and US clients, so on the list to check out. Thanks!

RegUser 04-11-2008 03:39 AM

moneris is very difficult n often a waste of time
i m not happy with zombaio either

SeanE 04-11-2008 05:04 PM

VSDan 04-20-2008 10:29 PM

Thanks everyone for your valued input! I'm going to put together a page listing and comparing all of the different processors. I'll post the URL once it is done.
