I use them and can't think of a single thing I can say negative about the move, the server or the service.

I recommend them any chance I can.

There are a few others here using them as well. Maybe a bump now will yield a few more responses.

I am 100% satisfied with PacificRack, that much I will say again.

DateDoc 04-10-2008 05:58 PM

Funny I just bookmarked them today. I too would like to hear more remarks. So far so good :)

I've been thinking about getting a dedicated server with them and I looked and looked for negative feedback as well and couldn't find any.

My understanding is that it's not managed hosting, meaning any tech support issues you would have to handle yourself or pay them to fix for you at an hourly rate.

This is fine if you're a competent server admin (or have one on staff) and want to save money, but it's not apples to apples if you're comparing their prices to someone like Techie Media or Mojo Host or Phatservers where unlimited tech support is included at no extra charge.

Its very simple and very cheap to add management to your server! You can see we also have a very economical method of requesting one-time support by way of "per incident support" -- only $5...

We have yet to come upon any client that has had an issue with it being unmanaged by default, as they either choose to have a managed server, or are perfectly happy using our per incident support and saving money! :thumbsup:2 cents: :)

So what do I get for $5? (in my best Matthew Modine voice)

Seriously though, can I get a script installed for $5? It would seem logical that $5 would cover the guys that can just add domains or emails or databases but when it comes time to get a "real tech" does it cost more?

Iron Fist 04-11-2008 08:51 PM

I'll definitely be in the market by end of this year for a dedicated at the rate i'm going.. so this is interesting...

Funny just reminded me...

[What'll we get for ten dollars?]
[Every 'ting you want]
[Everything?]
[Every 'ting]
[Ooh! Don't do that, baby! Ahh!]
[Hold on this! Oh, sock it to me! Aaahh!]
[Ooohh!]
