I just don’t get it. Here we have event that supposed to unite nations regardless of politics and some fucking assholes are going to fuck it all up. Yas yes yes, sucks to be those monks in China and they want they are own state that they won’t be able to rule just like E. Timor, Kosovo, ever other country in Africa but common. This is like not Rage against the machine concert. You look at some of those hippie protestors and just want to throw them out on some deserted island so they can protest each other.

If people don't stand up for their beliefs the world would be a sadder place.

    No equal rights for women.
    No equal rights on race.

And countless other protests where the people stood up against the oppressors and the system. So you can have a better life. Not a perfect one, which is why we need to keep standing up.

It's easy to protest against the Olympics. The games are massively funded by advertising, boycott watching the games and buying the products for the time the games are on. Big companies will realise they have to be more careful what the support in future.

How many other placed do you know of that have the same problems? Ever seen any protest against Mugabe in Zimbabwe or those oil rich countries in Middle East? Don’t think so. Protest all you want, why fuck around with something that has nothing to do with it? Stop buying Chinese .. NO don’t thinks so, cause that would make everyone pay 5 times more for shoes, electronics and so on. Instead, lets fuck with athletes who spend all of their lives for a moment like this, so some stinking green peace loser can jump them for the goodness of place he never heard about three weeks ago.
