I haven't followed the news regarding the Olympic torch ...could someone summarize why is it that the torch gets rick rolled every time it visits a country?

Is this about China and that Tibet thing? I heard the torch wasn't off the Eiffel tower 30 seconds before someone took a run at the torch bearers shouting free Tibet or something.

China needs to get their heads out of their asses about this, it isn't going to just go away. The world outrage is just going to get stronger and louder.

Fucking Chinese better not fuck up the games. I love the Olympics.

I think it's crazy how they talk about a protester every few hours, but never any backstory on China and Tibet. Yo whats the dealio?

It is about time the Tibet case get a real face other than just the Dalai Lama - China should be forced to abide to human rights. IMHO.

To bad its about what another country does with their people. While we ignore all the fucking problems here in the USA. Seems to be the american way. Ignore our problems while point at others and telling them how they should live their lives/rule their countries.

Fucking brilliant idea for the Olympic committee to pick China, I mean seriously, more people will be watching the Olympics than ever before, not for the Olympics, but for the news surrounding them.

It has nothing to do with Tibet, people could not give a rat's ass about them. The fact is Chinese are hated but it is not politically correct so the Tibet cause is used.

You can thank the media for that. they tell people all day how good it is in the US and how bad it is in other places.
