CCBILL Regional Billing - No price on the tour.

Now that I am using CCBILL's regional billing it means I can't put the price on my tours. It will be different price for people signing up in different regions.

I am NOT seeing any difference in average sign ups. But I am seeing more money using the regional billing. That also means our affiliates are seeing more money in the end.

Thanks CCBILL for doing the regional billing options.

How is everyone else doing using the regional billing option ?

I was just checking that, can someone from CCBILL or anyone using it elaborate shortly how this works?

Log into your CCBILL admin. There is a newsletter.

To find the Regional Pricing feature, go to your WebAdmin, click on Tools, then choose the Account Maintenance tab, and go to the Account Admin.

On the Account/Sub-account screen, you will find the Regional Pricing – CCBill Recommended pane. Here you can view the conversion for each price point, see what the final price will be based on the conversion, and also see the additional “revenue realized” at each price point.

To enable CCBill’s Recommended Settings for Regional Pricing, simply check the “opt-in” box and then select “Accept Regional Pricing.”

I haven't had prices on the tour for years....I don't want them to even think about price until they're at the ccbill form where they can put in all of their information.

meaning you can fix the prices in different currencies or all CC products are based on USD as before?

With this system, you receive say the USD equivelant of what they are paying in EURO's instead of the EURO's being based on the USD price you have setup in the system. If that makes sense.

This is just the first release of the regional pricing program. In the first release the only option is to accept CCBill's recommended conversion rates. In the next few weeks we will be making further releases including the ability to create certain prices based on regions. Therefore you can add the prices back to your tours.

we're glad everyone seems to be enjoying it :thumbsup

This is going to be a minor dilemma for porn review sites.

Advertising and rating a site at one price and then the surfer being hit up for way more in their native currency. (or less in some cases)

Maybe we can use a Geo - IP script to be able to have it change the price on our tours depending on what region a person is surfing from.

is this post chris hansen approved?

Actually it's still not possible to base the subscription price on EUR, that is not ideal because this way the subscription price is different every day.

If I would switch the regional pricing on now the US or any other dollar surfer would pay even more than he pays now..

Hi there!

CommerceGate has been processing in local currencies for the last 3 years now and it really gives a nice source of additional revenues and obviously more money on your bank account at the end of the day :-).

It is a good solution which works well especially when you are in the situation that on of the currencies you use on the site is getting weaker.

PM for more details!
