I posted this on another thread, but i think that we need to start on a debate...
I'm starting to think that the USA is turning more and more everyday into a Communism Country, Read that definition i got for you, and it practicly describs the USA goverment latetly.

OK from what i read here and there, is that you guys in the states are in a constant battle against your goverment on every issue, if you guys didn't forget you elected that guy, and you guys should start to put some presure.

If your goverment wants to start spying on everyone in the states, well if you are willing to allow that... well you need to think again.

The US goverment is starting to gets on every other counties nerves with their "Security Mesures" it's not because a gang of towel head wanted to arm the US that now it gives them the right to go and spy on everything that everyone is doing. I think it came far enought, Remember that everyone that is a American has the right to do something.

The way i look at it is that the US goverment is turning the USA in a Communism (i think it's how you spell it) Country. They want to be able to track everything that everyone is doing, they imput security messures to break your privacy. This is not how it should be, It's a goverment for the people elected by the people, right now it's a goverment for the rich people. They seem to have forgoten that they were elected to represent the people of the USA.

I dare you to right a letter to your congress or even call them and see how import the people are to them, you'll see that they don't give a shit about the people, that if you don't have money to give ot them they will just threat you like another peace of trash.

I'm not saying that you have to go and run outside on a rampage, but it's about time that the people take their country again, now it's the Rich men's country. If you don't ahve hte money $$$ well your a no body.

Obviously, you are not discussing the system of economics but rather the system of government.
Focusing on that, all forms of government have things in common, mainly that they are governments. Governments do hold power. That much is clear. The question is what form of government best describes the US. The answer is a Republic.

Firstly, what you describe with regard to security measures has nothing to do with communism - and everything to do with fascism. Keep in mind that regulations that are now imposed on everything as a result of 9/11 are done by presidential decree. Whatever GW wants, he gets - its definitely scary. He can even start a war without congress's aproval if he so desires. Thats fascism.

In regards to communism - the USA - plenty of the 10 progress indicators have been satisfied. The USA now has excessive property taxes, free public education in some states up to graduate school; welfare; "graduated" tax brackets; social security because the government knows how to save for your future better than you do; etc.

And while gun control isn't on the list from marx, it should be. Every communist and fascist regime has historically disarmed the populace prior to its revolutionary change.

Gun control is obviously huge in majorly socialist states such as New York, California, New Jersey, etc. And even the federal government (under George the first) decreed a ban on automatic weapons.

Its a slippery slope down the path to socialism / fascism. But perhaps it IS what the American people want. Hearded like sheep into opinions that are created and molded by the mass media that they all seem to glue their blank stares to.

If it happens, it happens. Its the end result of any democracy.

Well we have Gun control, and the goverment haven't tried anything radical. we don't have school shottings, we don't have every nuts running around with a M4 or whatever.

Hey if your goverment don't want to change their constitution from hmmm i think like 300 years ago, well that's their decision, but do you still think that every American should be allowed to have a gun to protect their proprety?

But the main thing here is that some people get blinded by the media, they don't want to see the thruth...

We could go on hours, the world isn't perfect, and certainly not the USA, you guys have been scammed in believing your goverment, and putting all your trust in him. Come on wake up smell the coffee do something.

Instead of spending all that money on wars against everyone, you guys could have Free Medicare, or maybe even more programs to help the poors. Just to remind you, Japan is 10 steps ahead of you guys in technology, army, and money.

If japan suffors a massive Earth Quake, it's going to crash the global market like you never seen before, do some research on the Economy in Asia, some countries out there we depends alote on them.
