What video format do surfers like best?
 

Which would you think they would like the best? and why? and what do you like the best?

MPG is still the most popular but I PREFER DivX5.

I hate AVI.

Always gotta be downloading some obscure codec. And I dont think the quality is all that.

Some people don't know shit about DivX encoding. I've seen some DiVX3.11 DVD-> AVI movies that are insane quality and still small file size (2 hour movie was 1.2GB).

Even on full screen mode in 1024x768, there was no distoration. Crystal clear.

I hear that, eru. A friend of mine sells pirated movies. All he does is DivX DVD Rips. 2 CD's for an average movie, and you honestly cannot tell the difference between the DivX and the DVD unless you actually look for it. The sound quality is probably the only place you'd notice it (if you had a Dolby setup, you obviously wouldn't get the surround sound).

But yeah, MPEG's for surfers, for sure.

Yeah its probably mpeg which really sucks for me.
I can do a 10 second clip with sound in WMV and the file size is only about 300KB.

I convert it to MPEG and its over 1.5 megs in size.
And ALOT of the tgp scripts won't read the WMV files if you submit a movie gallery, so you end up not getting reviewed.

Really sucks for me.....

I've heard a lot of people talking about switching over to .wmv since you can put time stamps on the movies....after a membership has expired, the movie won't play anymore. Haven't actually seen this implemented yet, but they're talking about doing it at adultbouncer.

Personally, I think asf and wmv suck ass, I hate trying to watch a movie and not being able to seek though it.
