I'm getting my ASS scrubbed RAW
 

The last 5 days signups have been a joke. Same traffic source even more clicks. Sites that I CONSISTANTLY could count on a certain amount of signups EVERY day are now showing me less than half the signups I usually average a day EVERY DAY of the week. And I'm not alone, I have had over 14 other guys tell me the exact same thing. Are these guys scrubbing more just to lower CBs since the heat is on them? When they go over their target CB rate on one site are they scrubbing more accross the board? Sure looks that way to me.

I'm not ashamed to say that our sales have been off by nearly 40% for the past 2 weeks. I've been wondering what the root cause is also.

How would they "scrub more" even if they wanted to?

I mean, what extra criteria would they be including in the CC verification that would allow the to scrub harder?

Not sure, but I sure see a lot of affiliate programs that say shit like "Less Scrubbing", "We Scrub less" etc,etc
Maybe they are scrubbing out countries with historically higher CB's they were not before? Common sense tells me they are watching their backs much more now than they were a week ago. They would be fools not to.

If this is true, then they've been doing it since the past 2 months. I've seen a MASSIVE decline in sales [across 5 differing sites] and I do double opt in email marketing.

The last 24 hours has sucked balls, but the rest of this week has been kick ass.

I don't know about the scrubbing thing. But my take on the slowness of sales right now has to do with the fact that people are not spending too much $$$ as they are waiting for the US to bomb the fuck out of Iraq and another huge war possibly beginning.

Once they blow the fuck out of Iraq, spending will go up up up.

Tuesday's sales were very good, now I haven't had anything for Wednesday or Thursday.

My father and I were discussing the new visa regs today and the topic of scrubbing came up, I told him how my card was denied trying to buy content through a site using one of the 2 major processors, My card is good and always has been. After debating back and forth off to the computer we went, he tried to do the same purchase using one of the "no credit limit" platinum cards he has and guess what-----DECLINED
wtf? this is crazy if he wanted to he could buy a friggin' house with that card.

Same here, sales are zilch this past week. Funny thing, I check my CCBILL stats, and they're showing no declines for the entire week - yah right!. What the hell are they doing with my declines, because my traffic hasn't changed.

I think it's obvious they are indeed scrubbing harder. With all the crap going on I expect them to, but most likely they are in crisis management mode right now. Instead of just scrubbing the paysites with high CBs that deserve it, I bet they are scrubbing their entire portfolio harder. This is what is bullshit to me. Maybe they are scrubbing certain big players harder to try to make sure they are inside the ratios. Personally I have not seen a huge decline across the board, but I have seen certain programs nose dive.

Then again, maybe they're just using tranny looking girls on their straight site weekly updates. That hurts too. :)

Yeah I'm getting similar reports from my associates... I had to drop some dead weight and start selling to different sites. Bail out on these scrubby programs! Don't let them fuck you -- there's lots of people buying traffic! It has been a lot of work... in the long run we will be running tighter ships.

I've had 3 average days in the middle of the last 10 with ibill.

Other than that, I've seen a very unusual, sharp decrease/plummet in signups either side of the middle of those 10 days.

I would rather not say since they are helping me put food in my kids mouths. Again I expect them to scrub harder now with all that is going on, in the long run this will be better for everyone, just don't scub the sites that don't need scrubbing, that's all I'm saying. That's like the teacher punishing the entire class because of just one or two bad apples.

Tuesday I had 8 sales with ARS, Wednesday and Thursday I had 0 sales with each day bringing in the same amount of traffic.

I know it's not on my end so it is either ARS or Ibill that has caused the problem for Wednesday and Thursday.

I'm right there with you, I've seen a drop in sales of at least 50% on the same or greater amount of traffic. It's some bullsheeet!

Just when I think things are going to get better, they just take a shit the next day.

When will it ever be back to normal again?

My conversion ratio for the past 5 weeks = 1:180

My conversion ratio for Thursday October 10th = 1:1368

I have no idea what the fuck happened on Thursday.

This happens every so often and I have no explaination, hopefully Friday will be back to normal. It always does go back to normal. I guess I'll know in 24-48 hrs from now.

So I guess this is a bad time to get into the biz?
