So which one of you fucks snapped my domain?
I will find you and haunt you.

|

|
sig spot :)
|
No doubt son. Holla at a playah when you see him in the streets!
|
<---
$250.000 and its yours again :) |
It expired today. You = Mark I assume (in dns)? You can still get it back within 30 days
|
should be in it's redemption period yet
|
Just stupid not to make sure that such a simple thing to keep your domain paid
|
your fault for letting it expire. sorry.
|
Many registrars give less than 30 days to renew after expiration. Registrars are generally free to do what they want in regards to dealing with expirations...
With the exception of IF and when a domain goes into redemption period at the registry level (when that happens the previous registrant has a good chance of getting it back) - key word being IF... Most often, expired sought after domains typically transfer to someone else at the same registrar; isn't deleted... When it doesn't "delete" that's often a situation in which the previous registrant often has little to no time to renew nor simple recourse to recover it; suing the registrar / drop service may work, but is a longshot.. With all that said, 10 days or so grace after expiration is common ... but again one can't always count on that; registrar TOSes vary considerably. Ron |
Seriously, you get like 30 emails to renew your domain before it expires.... if you let it go... you're fucking retarded.
That is all. |
It's always easier to blame someone else for your mistakes.

I know its my fault you Emo fucks. Calm down. |
Maybe its time to change your location?
|
As much as its your own fault for forgetting to renew it, i think its a little harsh that it was snapped up by a fellow gfy'er.
It is funny though :D |
If it's your company name, you might have a slight chance to get it back free.
Happened to me once, my personal advice: Just pay to get it back since it's important to you and any insulting or bitching just increases the price you'll have to pay. Don't make this lesson more expensive than it already is. |
you can (probably) still renew, it'll cost a few hundred bucks though
|
TBH I'm really surprised you decided to bring this to people's attention like this. If I let my main business donain name drop, and had it snapped I'd keep really fucking quiet and try and get it back before anybody noticed, rather than making myself look like an incompetent fool...
|
damn i wish i got it

But it is there business really, and yeah it was a GFYer who does work with a registry. I just made it my business to keep what mine and it is a pretty simple task once ya know how the system works. It was pending snap once released from the registrar. Domain speculation is big bucks and as funnay as iAlien.com is it is still a 5 letter domain which does have value. |

Evan from Xpays may have seen it with his funny snap program.
There are a alot of those around that make lists so domains can be snapped once released. Domains are not snapped instantly anymore due to some new policies that reduced squatting and improper speculation. |

OK 6 letters. How many 6 letter domains you got? |

Even if someone from gfy snapped it, They should give it back to ya out of good faith, losing a domain after years and years is a real pain.
