Bear Stearns would have made me about $8000 in 15 days!
 

March 17, 2008 this stock ( BSC ) was at $2.84 and went up to $10.83 April 4, 2008 ..... so by the time i tried funding my account to purchase around 1000 shares at $2.84 = $2,840 and selling it at $10.83 = $10,830 leaving me with $7,990 ..... i was too late so ending up purchasing it at $5.01 :-( still up though....

Crazy. Someone on here said they made a killing flipping it around - not sure who i was though.

$5.01 * 1,000 Shares = $5,010.00
Current Price: BSC, $10.47 * 1,000 Shares = $10,470

$5,460.00 Profit in 21 Days :)

Don't be sad over $2,540!

Same type of thing for the people that played the yahoo stock due to the microsoft purchase rumors at the time that are now no longer rumors.
