How do Review Sites feel about charging Euro members more than what the review says?

How do "Review Sites" feel about charging Euro customers more than whats advertised in their reviews?

This question popped up after all the recent debate on the new features available to CCBill customers.

Charging Euro customers, (and others) more than your US prices based on the value of and in their local currency.

Since we always side with the consumer, it would definitely be counted as a negative aspect. In fact we've already mentioned it in couple reviews.

Look at it from a consumer point of view. I would be pissed if I read that a membership costs $29.95 and then I have to pay ?29.95 when I get to the site. Europeans may be different culture wise, but they are not stupid.

Say it turns around and it is suddenly an advantage for the webmaster to bill everybody in dollars - would you still make it possible for Europeans to pay in Euros? There's your answer.

It's no different than with traditional physical goods, when the dollar is low, Europeans buy more American goods. Now I guess they just buy more porn - any paysite owners with some stats about that?

That being said, I CAN see some reason in charging a European guy a similar percentage of his purchasing power as an American. So my advice should you decide to do it, at least offer the option of linking to a non-Euro tour as well to prevent the scenario above.
