...at least that is what a number of callers stated durning C-Span's call in period this morning. They refuse to belive that they could have legitimately earned the 109 million they reported as income for the past 7 years.

proof are needed on those kind of things. stating such a big money as their income for the last 7 years will make other people ask how did they do that and where are those income went...

you do realize that people pay a TON for them to speak or hell even just show up to various parties and business meetings. Every president after office gets seats on corporate boards where they don't do anything other than lend their name...

They were in politics and maybe some of the deals were shady, However, money was made on speaking engagements and book tours and other business dealings. Bill gets $50,000.00 to speak and that adds up quick especially over a seven year period.

President Clinton gets more than $50,000...I think he got more than $400,000 for one of his speaking engagements. If I remember correctly...and I may not...President Reagan got $3,000,000 for one speaking engagement.

Since they paid in taxes (33 million) more than what most of those callers will make in 10 of their lifetimes, who gives a shit what the callers think.
