Got the chip remapped. Not as good gains as I had hoped, but I'm still happy. The diesel pump is pretty old and they didn't want to crank it up too high otherwise it would break in the next 2000-3000km. Time to see if walbro makes anything that will fit...

The scan didn't come out very well unfortunately. 143HP/107KW , 338Nm/250ftlbs.

You'd think with a diesel they'd really be able to crank out some extra juice.

I know on the big diesel trucks they can sometimes add 150 HP or more through tuning alone.

143 seems pretty low. Althought I bet you can spin the hell out of the tires with that much torque.

Well, the difference is that the big trucks have 6L engines and a turbo the size of my spare tire :1orglaugh Indeed, it does some nice burnouts.

My motorcycle has more horsepower. :)

Not really, diesels pretty well always end up having huge torque and no hp

it cannot be bmw 320d, depending on facelift it has either 136 or 150 factory hp (in e46 model)

probably 316d :) (115hp stock)

My friend, powerful streetguy got one. But it was tuned to about 420HP and waiting for Hamann compressor. Easy to vomit in such car.

Unluckily he got good buyer for it, sold it and bought new 645 Ci for his girlfriend.

What a miss. I remember metal to the penal and walking people hearing that sound were running from crosswalk.

I had a 00 328 5spd that I had supercharged. Those drive by wires are the sickest off the line. Lots of launch. Now i gotta go find a pic. Thnx for the memories.
