I'm a little confused...

I was sitting here, fiddling around with a c0uple of cd-rom drives that are both stuck closed.. I don't have a paper clip for the emergency releasee... so I gave up on that, booted up my computer and put my hands on the keyboard and thought...
Huh?

So here we are. I hope we're on the same wavelength now.

Try smoking some marijuana. It will clear up all confusion.

I have the same problem - my 10yo daughter decided to push the CD/DVD drive shut and now it wont open even with the paper clip trick. Any ideas how to get around this :(

How about a screwdriver?

Some Guy 04-03-2008 02:30 AM

If a screwdriver doesn't work, you could always try a hammer.

you can try the mini screw driver you get with the glasses kits. Great in just the right force without damaging the release...If that doesn't work, try a hammer. LOL
