Guitar Hero Help - PLEASE!!!
 

ok i'm ready to throw this !#$%@$%@# guitar out the window...

I rocked thru easy and medium levels with no problems and now i'm stuck at hard

4 fingers, 5 buttons - AHHHHHHHHH!!

how do you play it?
slide all fingers down?
use your pinky for blue and orange?

advice please!!

it depends on the song. I started with songs that dont really have blue and oj at the same time and used my pinky for both. I eventually started sliding my hand up and down it but not until I played rock band. The difficulty gap in guitar hero between medium and hard is huge. Its a smoother transition in rock band. I still can't play the 8-10 hardest songs on hard in either game.

P.S. My Pomeranian would kick your dog's ass! How much does that thing weigh?

Your best bet is to start with your first finger on the red. It's easier to stretch your index to the green than to stretch your pinky to the orange. You'll have to slide, too. You'll also notice patterns as far as having one block of notes with the first four notes and another block with the bottom four. You won't have to worry about many green-orange combos until you get pretty far into the hard levels.

Most times I will slide up so my index finder is on the red and my pinky would be hitting the orange instead of the blue. Everything now and then I will keep my index on the green and stretch to the orange. I've 5 starred all the songs on Easy medium and hard. I have 5 songs left to beat on expert, not 5 stars though.

LOL on the Pomeranian bit... my dog weighs about 95 lbs, and the funny thing is he actually backs down from the little feisty guys

i shall go try the starting on red.. and stretching the index and not pinky
makes sense!!

rock band isn't out for wii yet
i will for sure get it when it comes out
