Who drinks loose tea?

Ive started drinking black tea during the day and it makes me feel a lot better and more relaxed, anyone here buy the loose tea and drink it also while you are working? if so what kind do you like best?

rhon23 04-01-2008 08:57 AM

I drink green tea daily.

LauraLee 04-01-2008 09:02 AM

I do. I get mine from tevana and generally choose a chai blend. Good stuff.

Pete-KT 04-01-2008 09:09 AM

kool kool

dready 04-01-2008 09:10 AM

I do. Usually just a simple Twinnings Earl Grey.

tranza 04-01-2008 09:38 AM

Nope, I just try to drink lot's of water every day at work..

woj 04-01-2008 09:41 AM

Just loose leaf green tea, it's like 5x cheaper than teabag tea, tastes better, is fresher, less chemicals, etc.... can't go wrong with looseleaf tea :thumbsup

Pete-KT 04-01-2008 10:11 AM

Dont care about the price differnce WOJ, it just tastes so much better

D 04-01-2008 10:13 AM

You're about 2% of the way to brewing your own beer. :winkwink:

Look me up when you're ready. :)

I stopped drinking sodas a few years ago and now all I drink is tea from http://www.adagio.com/ . Their tea is way better and fresher than anything at local stores or even most other online stores.

Peaches 04-01-2008 10:24 AM

I drink exclusively loose tea if I'm drinking tea (except for Trader Joe's Spicy Chai). In fact, I need to hit the local (only) loose tea seller to stock up :)

I think the last online order I made was from Adagia. Teavana doesn't recognize my 6 year old zip code even though I've reported it to them twice and they've had their IT guy tell me twice it's been fixed.....oh well, the 600 people who live here just won't order ;)

candyflip 04-01-2008 10:25 AM

We get a regular Teavana delivery here.

I'm also a big fan of Tazo Chai Lattes, but that's not loose stuff...comes in a box as a concentrate. Tasty.

sniperwolf 04-01-2008 10:30 AM

haven't tried the loose leaf one but been using the teabag tea. :)

Sandee_Westgate 04-01-2008 10:53 AM

I love teas. Have you tried the loose tea from Pete's? The jasmine pearls are amazing :)

Sandee_Westgate 04-01-2008 10:56 AM

And the chamomile tea is actual little flowers you brew. Soooo relaxing and smells really good as well. http://www.peets.com/shop/tea.asp

Jen55 04-01-2008 10:57 AM

Green Tea with a little bit of dried chrysanthemum. Makes it sweet and a little floral. YUM! Sometimes ice green tea with honey. YUMx2

Were do you get it around here? Steph and I were going to go to sumer set this weekend as we were just looking into it.

Michaelious 04-01-2008 11:04 AM

Tea is a bit jobby. Much prefer water, coffee and alcohol. Green Tea does have it's place though!

it is great iced tea, different flavors, very very light on the sugar (no artificial and like a tenth of pop, or completely sugarless if you want), and organic and different varieties

That's the only bottled iced tea I'll drink. Anything else is just syrup.

Jman 04-02-2008 09:04 AM

Green tea is great, I drink that and also combine with special herbs mixes I get from natural store. They all serve their purpose and make me feel great.

Also try putting a small bud in their next time you make a cup of green tea, gives it a nice taste :pimp
