RIP Sean Levert
 

I grew up in Cleveland and my first job in the music biz was working for TREVEL Productions, the production compnay owned by Eddie, Gerald, and Sean Levert.

It was a huge shock when at 40 yrs of age GErald dropped dead about a year ago- but this is even more heartbreaking.

Eddie has lost two of his three sons....I feel very sad for him.

In case you don't know who the Levert's are-
Eddie is one of the founders of the band The O'Jays- and Sean and GErald had a huge hit in the 80's with " Casanova"

The warden of the jail tells TMZ that after Sean collapsed, he was immediately rushed to the hospital

Medical treatment is NEVER "immediate" in a jail/prison. Working with Amnesty International I've seen/heard of so many horrible things its ridiculous.

What most likely happened is it took 30-45 mins for a guard to even notice it...then 5-10 minutes of trying to wake him up/yelling at him (to see if he was "faking it")....well the rest is pretty obvious when i word it this way. And yes thats really what happens everyday in jails/prisons across America.

What a fucking shame & all over some bills.
