Do you trust Bush with more power
Do we really expect that giving his administration power to oversee the financial markets is a good idea?

hell no....
|
He has singlehandedly FAILED at EVERY single thing he has touched.
There is your answer. |
It will be fine. God is telling him what to do just like he did with Iraq.
|
no
no and no |
I'm amazed with everything Bush has done that some crazy idiot has gone over the deep end and tryed to gun him down!
|
It only gets better from here. I thank god everytime I see a dumb redneck with a GW04 sticker on the back of his aging SUV.
|
Im just glad I dont live in the USA ;)
|
This isn't giving more power to Bush or his administration.
This is something that is done in other industries in America and done throughout the world on almost all markets. Our market needs to be regulated and monitored... way more than it is. I simply don't feel safe investing in a 'fake stock market' like we have, so any regulation to make it more secure and real is a good thing. |
Bush deserves no trust.
|
Regulation is needed to protect the overall system from *ALL* idiots that have no idea as to what it is that they are doing to themselves or the people around them.

he's a very brgiht man... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Your thread is way off. The Federal Reserve acts independently from the Administration and many times, gets in the political cross fire of the administrations because if the Administration had its way, it would always pressure the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates.
That's why they call it fiscal policy and monetary policy. |
do i trust him?
no. can i stop him? no. |

We need to regulate the markets over here so we don't have to regulate them over there. Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.
Or something like that. |
If Bush is such a bad president why did he get elected not once but twice?:Oh crap
|
I don't even trust him with a pacifier!
|
GWB personally? Honestly, yes.
However, ours is a government of laws, not men. If too much power is vested in the Presidency without the proper checks and balances, eventually you will get someone who abuses it. |
I wouldn't trust that idiot with a slice of bread.
