you don't? ww2 didn't start on D day in June of 1944. It started in 1939. Americans fught Germans for less than a year. Please tell me what took them so long? why didn't they help Russian when Nazis were 60 kilometers away from Moscow? why not start the war than and not when Germans had their asses handed to them all over the place and were forced to mobilize their armies to the eastern front from Normandy, Italy, Africa corps?

Too bad so many don’t know/realize that. The only reason US even bothered to fight Germans is because they knew it was over and feared that Soviets were going to take over Europe. They weren’t fighting Germans, they were fighting soviets, protecting Europe from communist disease.

I actually own that movie, it?s a great movie and Ed Harris played a great role.
