Attempt to own smiley face icon trademark thwarted
 

People are nuts! Walmart tried to enforce a trademark claim on the "smiley face". The courts said "No Way", finally some common sense in America.

Well I guess I should not try to trademark this --------> ! :(

I can't remember the details but 8-10 yrs ago or so they sued the original creator of the smiley face image to keep him from using it..and lost

I thought Forrest Gump invented that shit.
