I bought a brand spankin' new 2004 Cadillac SRX a few years ago, and it was absolutely the worst car I have ever owned. It had a great ride, and good power, but it was in the shop for 4 months total out of the first year and a half I owned it.

The big problem that it had was that it would simply turn off while driving. It happened to me probably 10 times total, and I had to bring it back 3 times for the same problem. Imagine being on the 405 in moderate traffic and having your brand new Cadillac die.

Buyers beware...what a piece of shit.

that sucks - I love my escalade but I did have the fuel pump die while I was driving :(

Sounds like a lemon. I drove my escalade to 48k miles and never had one problem
