There is a memorial thread going on at an African-American surfer board that I visit about this wonderful white man who founded Popeye's Chicken who died of some rare form of cancer....

And he also founded Copelands for those of you who know.

I used to work for him years ago at one of his Diversified Foods plants here in AL. The guy has a shitload of exotic cars/boats/motorcycles etc.

Ugh - my favorite fast food fried chicken. Great hangover cure too. I love the spicy chicken, red beans and rice. Yummy.

You know until this very morning I thought that guy was black.

The one that just openned up near me must be defective. The chicken was bland and tasteless, dipping sauces tasted like chemicals, and the portions were too small. I swore I'd never go back.
