300 was one of the worst movies I've ever seen... can't think of 1 thing that was well done in it other than sucking

I'll never understand why this movie was so hyped. Everything from the director to the writer to the fuckin actors need to be seriously ashamed of themselves.

the kind of people that like this movie have absolutely no requirement of "realism" I'm a history and "realism" type. Not only was this insanely inaccurate but it was so "unreal". I love the weird shit in a movie like LOTR simply because that from the beginning is "fantasy" don't feed me stupid unrealistic shit in a "historical" type setting.

The only GOOD side of this movie is it spawned a ton of documentaries about the REAL event and some of them were good. and yes I watch documentaries... History channel rocks

At first I felt the same (that is, when I saw the promos and realized it was not based on what happened), but when I saw it I realized clearly that this is fantasy - it's based on a comic book and is in no way intended to be a retelling of the events.

In a different way, but similar to Titanic, which created a fantasy story around real events.

So if you saw the movie expecting a realistic interpretation of the battle at the Hot Gates, obviously you were disappointed.
