Thanks for sharing Compdoctor! Lots of people laugh when they see 3D sexual scenes, models, etc. The future for 3D is huge. Only a small percentage of affiliates realize it at this time. The ones that know are getting sweet checks from us each week. Keep doing what you are doing. You are in the right place at the right time IMO.

That Render IS tight, Comp, but you need to adjust the lighting, from the small image it looks like you used a blushish spotlight or omni light, that is why it makes the model look so off, the texture looks good (V3 or V4?)

While I was "Dubbed" The Godfather Of 3D Porn, Compdoctor predates me, and was one of the people who got me and others into the toon game years ago.

It is because of artists like Compdoctor that the 3D Toon niche got to where it is today, He laid the ground work and others like myself, the Thrixxx crew and the crew at crazyxxx3dworld.com took the market to the next levels.

I'm not trying to knock MIP or anyone else in this thread, I respect and admire all of my 3D brethren, but I just get tired of seeing, reading and or hearing stuff that portrays this market as "new" or "The Future" this niche is over 10 years old now, and even though it evolves every year, and more and more companies jump on the bandwagon of 3D porn, "The Future Of 3D Porn" started in 2000 - 2001

Affiliates just need to open their eyes and expand their bank accounts by utilizing all of us 3D sponsors ;)

Sure 3D content might be weird, funny, scary, disturbing, odd, (etc etc etc) but I can think of 20 or so "real porn" niches that I can say the same things about that make damn good bank, 3D content is no different then say balloons, belly inflation, wet and messy, granny, cosplay etc etc.

I know 3D porn or toon porn is not new, and certainly didn't say that it was. I know you and Compudoctor, thrixxx and others exist and are doing fine work. My point is that I believe it has not reached it's peak and is only beginning to be accepted by affiliates that push more than toons. I say it is the future because we have to convince webmasters to try us. When they do they are surprised how well it sells. That tells me it hasn't reached it's peak. When computers are 10 times faster and software 10 times better, don't you think this stuff will look better than it did 10 years ago or right now? Most 3D sites don't even have video clips or models that talk. That is because it takes so much time and computer power (money) to do it. Once that gets better, motion cgi will dominate and look even more realistic. Surely you agree? So, try not to take it personally when I say it has a HUGE future, as I am including you, compudoctor, 3dxxxcrazyworld, thrixxx, heron, and many many more and I believe we are all in the right place at the right time.

I agree (mostly) with everything you've said, however (there's always a however lol) When I "complain" about the usage of this niche being "new" or "The future" it' only because I personally feel that sets us all back... let me explain a bit.

When we all first started years ago we used the same terms and marketing, most of the affils looked at the content and pretty much just scoffed, some saw the potential and signed up, promoted, and made bankrolls.

After almost 10 years of this niche being pretty much an untapped under-saturated gold mine, each time I find a "new affil" they had no idea how long this niche has been around. or even sometimes the basics of the niche itself.

so when people call this market "new" to me it sets us back a bit, I can't think of how many times I've stood at the top of a cyber hilltop screaming at the top of my fingertips that this niche WILL & DOES CONVERT, and the general webmaster community needs to understand this is a long standing niche/market not "The new flavor of the month"

I'm still pulling teeth with many tgp owners, review sites, link list owners to actually add a category for 3D Porn and the market is damn near 10 years old with how many companies involved now?

The quality has deff jumped by leaps and bounds over the last 6 years, each year the texture mappers produce more and more realistic looking photomaps to work with, and the render engines are also getting better by the day.

As for full motion video, imho you won't see a big surge in that for at least a few more years (minus what were cooking up ;) ) due mainly to what you pointed out, BUT more so (again imho) for the fact that while it takes about 20+ hours to render out 60 secs of video (using a quad core PC with 2-3gigs of ram mind you lol) the same person can render out at least 5-6 image sets in the same amount of time.

And since not many sites even have the video content (more then 5-10 sec loops) the surfer is not demanding it, so there really is not a huge push for us to spend days at a time per video. that will change as the market continues to evolve.

I could go on and on here, but I won't bore anyone any longer lol, I have some ways we all could skyrocket this market, if anyone is interested in having some sitdowns, but be warned it goes against everything our actual industry was built upon

To say it has a huge future in no way can be a set back imo. Also, our clips are a lot longer than 10 seconds and we have a lot of cool stuff coming. If there is ever a glitch with someone having trouble playing our clips, they want their money back if the videos won't play. So they are demanding it, they just aren't getting it very many places. I understand your point of view and why it bothers you a bit when I talk about the future. I don't mean that we invented the internet, I am just shouting from the rooftops so people will listen. I also don't agree that 3D is like balloon, bellies, etc. 3D may be a niche, but it is also successful when applied to most niches. All the ones we have tested anyway. 3D Porn is akin to balloon, bellies etc ONLY in the fact that those are smaller niches that people (out of the loop) would see and think (A) This stuff can't convert well (B) Who the fuck would pay to see this (C) I just don't get it, and therefore it cant sell that well. (D) All of the above and more lol

I did not mean tat balloon traffic would convert 3D Porn per say, just that since 3D Porn is still not acknowledged as a "real niche" that people tend to (Sometimes) look at it like they would look at the micro niche counterparts.

We mostly agree, but I don't ever recall saying 3D adult material was a new artform. Although we have taken an approach different than others have as far as I know. The fact that 3D porn is not acknowledged as a real niche is what we intend to change. If the numbers told me something else, then that is what I would believe.

If someone says it is new and the only people that know otherwise is you, me, and compudoctor, then I suppose to most people it is new. and I'm keeping my megaphone, in fact I have ordered a bigger one
