well at least the acting is amateur. I'm like you, I heard all this stuff about how great it was, yada yada yada, blah blah blah. total crap. I couldn't even watch more than 20 minutes of it.

It wasn't bad - the acting was so-so but nice action scenes. I'll probably watch it again some day.

Sidenote: I can't stand people who say "I had to turn it off after 10 minutes, I couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of it"... How are you qualified to provide a real criticism of the movie after admitting you've only seen a little bit of the beginning?

Personally I don't consider it much of an action movie. I don't know, but to me most action movies are pretty thin on the plot and mostly fairly stupid. Boondock Saints seems to be one of those movies that just stood out as something more. It was pure fucking badass.

It's a great flick. Watch it (all the way through) at least once.

Depending on which board you frequent, this movie is either loved or despised. I happen to think it's a piece of crap that wants to be something it can never be. If you like the worst Tarantino knockoff possible, then see it.

I find poor writing to be distracting, if I wanna see poorly executed films I'll go for ed wood. that my friend is enjoyment :)
