So, while driving to the Grand Canyon
 

With my friends from Germany, we got pulled over. And not in a city, in some small horror movie looking town on Route 66. I thought for sure we were going to get fucked over hardcore by the cops, but they let us off with a warning, which was awesome of them. It was scary.

In other news, its fucking freezing here and all I have to wear is shorts and sandals. :Oh crap

We were thinking of taking an extra day after the show and going to see the grand canyon, but I'm thinking of just making a 3 or 4 day trip out of it in a month or two.

I've heard (and seen on the news) that sometimes the smog is so bad that you can't see across the Grand Canyon. Is it a rarity? It was awhile ago that I saw the new report.

With the way people abuse the earth and think it's their god given right to reproduce multiple kids it's unfortunate that I don't really find it that odd. :(

I live in the desert, and EACH year EVERYONE has to dig up their lawn and reseed it (for some strange reason grass doesn't grow well in sand). I don't have kids, so no big deal, but I look at these families with 2 or 3 kids doing it, and just want to smack them in the heads. It's so easy and beautiful to make a desert plant landscaped yard with drip lines and rocks, but nooooo, everyone has to have their green lawn and their 2 SUVs in the driveway. :disgust
