I hear you man! I am using one down here in Key West shooting Spring break and it's proving to be a great camera

Indeed, I picked one up when I found out I was having my first child.
I wanted a good quality camera but was smaller than the average DSLR so that I could lug it around on family outtings.
The XT fit in perfect with those plans... and takes great shots!

Of course, that was before the XTi had come out and now I wish I had that instead.

I have the canon 20D and love it. takes awesome photos of my son even with the standard glass it comes with.

I have Canon EOS 350D 18-55 , Kit, $500 pretty good considering 'pimping' digital non slr kind goes as $400.
