FBI Posts Fake Hyperlinks To Trap Downloaders of Illegal Porn
 

That's the slashdot article title. I was excited when I read it, but it turns out they are looking for downloaders of child porn, not password theft.

Good. Yes, password sharing and theft sucks, but not as much as CP. I would be pissed if they were policing passwords instead of trying to catch these scumbags.

Wow, what's a nice way to blackmail someone you want. Just get a list of those fake links, make a spoofer-trojan, or simply create a fake page/email that says: "you got a hallmark card", put some of those links there and send this to a person you hate (e.g. your boss LOL) and wait for 3... 2... 1... till he get basted!

Everything is getting easier in this world :)

P.S. Course I would never do something like that. But I'm the one who used to analyze all possible use of any tool/invention or known idea. And here I see a very big possibility for the ppl. who making their money on blackmail.

Serves them right.. for leaving it unlocked
