Polls v. McCain are meaningless right now. People don't know really him or his positions on the issues. As the US economy slides further into the crapper, and the nomination is settled (either way), the Democrats will poll better.

BTW, Hillary is still a long shot, esp w/o Fla and Mi. Either Democrat will do well in a recession. But don't you worry, the haters will turn out for whoever they run, and the idiots who elected Bush twice will line up to vote for the reactionary.
