Free bandwidth theft protection..
 

I ran across this free script that could be a plus to those having theft problems..

If someone tries hotlinking your stuff, surfers are sent to either a gif or html file that you want them sent to.. Just imagine the extra traffic you could promote to with this thing..

If ya haven't heard of it.. it's called Ace Bandwidth Protector.. and it's free..

It's not mine, nor am I affiliated with it.. just thought it might solve the theft headaches that some of you are experiencing..

Who knows.. you might even wanna thank the thieves for the extra traffic they send to your promotions..

You have to use a special link syntax on each file you want protected.

If you submit movies, might want to test it out, otherwise a normal .htaccess is better for protecting pics.

This is true.. just thought it was a nice option for those who might want to take advantage of the thefts..
