World's #3 OIL Consumer is a U.S. state! Guess which One?

"Only the USA and China consume more oil than California," observes Jim Boyd, vice chairman of the California Energy Commission.

DAMN!

But here is the good news....

"In 2006, California consumption of gasoline PEAKED, even though population continues on the path of doubling over a 30 year period."

What this means is that California in now using LESS gas now that it did a year ago and that we can look to the GOVERNATOR to lead the way in showing the rest of the U.S. on how to best utilize our most valuable resources. :thumbsup

"In California, more people are driving fewer miles; importantly, fewer solo miles. More efficient vehicles are being used, often benefiting from hybrid-electric drive systems. As an alternative to oil, there is a growing use of biofuel, natural gas, hydrogen, and renewable electricity."

If we could get the law changed to make Arnold eligible to be President of the U.S. then maybe the future of our country would not look as depressing as it does right now.
