I trip on salvia divinorum about once every three months or so. You can buy it online, but I usually buy mine at my local head shop.

It's legal -- for right now, they may change that -- but it can be a seriously mind-fucking experience. It ain't like pot at all -- more like a five to seven minute hallucinogenic trip. Very heavy stuff, even though the trip only lasts a few minutes. I smoke mine in a bong, and smoke about 1/8th of a gram at a time. You have to use a butane lighter and smoke it quick, in two big tokes -- by the time I've got the second toke in my lungs, I'm already gone, I have to fight to hand the pipe off to my sitter (I always have a sitter with me, because this stuff will fuck you up in no time flat -- before I lie down and let the trip happen. I say that I have to fight to hand the pipe off because reality has already taken a big turn upside down and it usually feels like my entire body is being pulled off to one side.

During trips, I've heard voices talking to me, seen lights/colors/images, and felt as if I was floating. I've been using the 5x extract (five times as strong as plain salvia leaf) and it hits me hard, as I said. Last time I bought any, I got the 7x instead, and I'm almost scared to try it. If you want more info, Google it...I'm too tired to look shit up right now.

I think I paid about $25 for a couple of grams last time I bought any. Like I said, a dose is about 1/8 of a gram...look up some sites online about it and you should be able to find some FAQs about how exactly to measure out a dose if you don't have a scale, what the best way to use it is, etc. It's a little tricky to get a good result from it -- some people don't even get a buzz, much less trip, and other people like me trip out of their heads the first time they smoke it.

legal herbs are lame. fucking just take illegal drugs like a normal person. passionflower, siberian mugwort, damiana and scullcap are all lame. maybe if you want something to smoke if you're trying to quit cigarettes and just want the feeling or something but otherwise just take divine mint/SalvorinA, phalaris grass/acacia/DMT sources and angel's trumpet/datura/jimsonweed/Scopolamine like any other hospital prone experimenter :)

i agree w/ boneprone... i started sniffing glue about a year ago.. now i've been lifting for 2 years.. but seriously, sniffing glue is quite opposite of doing anything negative to your body.. i get these great energy boosts at the gym and i feel great and clarified all the time. i'm hooked on it.. and its not a physical addiction, its all emotional because i love it so much.
