Sponsor RSS Feed Users -- Your Opinion Please
For those of you that use sponsor-provided RSS feeds, which format would you prefer:
1) A blog post with three images that are around 200x300 with the third image watermarked with something like, "click here to see more" or "click here to watch this full scene!" and linked to the sponsor's tour. 2) A blog post with three thumbnail images around 120x200, each linked to a larger image (like 400x600) and the link(s) to the tour is(are) within the text of the blog post. Thank you in advance for your time and opinions. :thumbsup |
Option #2 looks good to me...
I like to link the first few thumbs to content and the last one to the tour personally. |
I hate 3 seprate thumbs linked to the same gallery.. so if you do that.. link them to the big images on a html page that click through to the tour.
If it's a single big image just link it to a FHG or the girl's page on the tour if she has one. |
I'll vote for 2) also. 3 large images per blog post should be enough. If we give surfers a FHG with 15-20 pictures or 4-6 movies in every blog post no way they will buy a membership.

I am voting for 2) as well for the above reasons.

RSS feed is for lazy webmasters :glugglug

All the pictures should be 450 pixels in width because almost all popular wordpress themes are designed for that size.
|
yep 450 for large image as mentioned above, wish this was standard.
for a three thumb option, the 2 thumbs and 3rd being link to tour sounds sweet |

The most important about rss feeds is that they are VALID!
So many programs have rss feeds but they are 75% fuckin invalid see this address before you offer feeds to your webmasters http://feedvalidator.org/ |
