How Much Would Someone Have to Pay You to Give up Your Computer for 1 Whole Year?

OK ok... so I was doing a lil research for one of the articles I'm writing and stumbled upon this question........... How much would someone have to pay you in order for you to give up the computer for 1 year? ---- would you even be able to survive a whole year without it?:error:winkwink:

Discuss...

No acces to any computers at all ? I wouldn't consider the offer under 500k a year, and even then...

VeriSexy 03-15-2008 07:56 PM

A million after tax, cash... and I'll take a break

AdPatron 03-15-2008 11:05 PM

J. Falcon 03-15-2008 11:15 PM

I would have to learn to use it all over again :(

Angry Jew Cat - Banned for Life 03-15-2008 11:24 PM

i'm going to be realistic. i'd turn it off for 50-60k yearly... lol

starpimps 03-15-2008 11:55 PM

1.36 million unmarked bills.

AG_Downunder 03-16-2008 12:56 AM

Not worth the convo I would have to have with the misses...

ADL Colin 03-16-2008 04:27 AM

Heh. great poll. I wonder how related the answers are to income derived from the internet? if I had no internet income it wouldn't cost so much.

Nicky 03-16-2008 04:45 AM

Gimme a million and I will toss it out the window.

Iron Fist 03-16-2008 04:49 AM

Million dollars and i'll kick in the screen and take out my baseball bat personally..

polish_aristocrat 03-16-2008 04:58 AM

I don't work much but still I need to monitor things.

Also, there's the social/entertainment aspect of using a PC.....

so it would take a lot of money for me to not use a PC for a whole year

Multimedia 03-16-2008 05:54 AM

with out the comp... i would live in a box.

dav3 03-16-2008 06:46 AM

But then who would punish all the nubes in TF2?

Jens Van Assterdam 03-16-2008 06:51 AM

700k++ :)

lbc213 03-16-2008 07:05 AM

Realistically, I would give it up for a years income x3.

Reak AGV 03-16-2008 07:19 AM

I wouldn't give it up at all :)

Ross 03-16-2008 07:19 AM

If by this question you mean not working online then gimme $250K and I'll gladly not work online. If you mean stepping away from the computer altogether for 1 year and not being able to check things then thats a different story. Sad but true computers are a huge part of everyones lives nowadays.

MikeVega 03-16-2008 07:36 AM

I need the PC for almost 1/2 my yearly income but i guess for about $150-$200k I'd enjoy the time off :)

Fucksakes 03-16-2008 08:20 AM

the sad part thou.. after a year all my shit will probably drop into nothing and id have to start all over.. I took a summer off once and it hurt.

hell nowadays taking a couple days off costs me big time.

Oh yeah for sure....my server went down for 15 hours and it has taken me 3 days to get my trades back on track. Really shows how a little down time can mess things up.

VicD 03-16-2008 08:38 AM

I voted 1

polle54 03-16-2008 08:51 AM

Well my salary would do.

Then I could take one year off :)

I could really use a year without this machine eheh
