3 domains on 1 IP address, does that hurt SE rankings?

Hello,

I opened up a new dedicated server and my host put 3 domains on 1 IP address, that's the first time I have seen this done.

Will it hurt my SE rankings if each domain had it's own IP before moving, and now all share one?

Thanks

First time you've seen this? This is standard. Domains are not supposed to each get their own IP. IP's are in limited supply on a global scale and we will run out of them in the next few years. It affects nothing having multiple domains on a single IP.
Only reason you need a dedicated IP is if you want to run an SSL cert for that domain.

no, no and no, not even if you got domains on the same ip which are interlinked...

i think he asks for his seo server...

Tidal Wave is absolutely correct. Many hosts have been giving away far too many IPs without any real justification.

i don't think it's a nice way for being Cute kid to Google,

but maybe afew interlinkings at the same ip could be acceptable.

im not saying that, interlinking at the same ip would be ban reasonning, but if we'll talk about ranking, My openeon is play cleaner more as mutch as You cann.

Well at these huge shared hosting plan times, i don't think google really cares about different IP's.

I have lot's of domains on one IP, and they get really god rankings, even if they got links only from the domains wich are from the same IP.

My above statement is little bit missleading, so if i explain better for what i want to say, i don't think too mutch interlinking between same domains on same İP is a good deel, but i might be wrong eather, maybe we should get more openeons from an other GfYers :)

Shouldn't hurt it, but don't expect to get any benefits from cross linking the domains...
