a lot of the live hits are most likely from the people who use hotmail.

How many times have you been told that Alexa is WRONG! I know this for a fact and if you are a real webmaster you should know this info by now.

A lot of hotmail traffic is counted toward live.com .. whereas Google's 90%+ (i think) is there for search.

May be google can win alexa war (lol) by making youtube a subdomain, youtube.google.com :winkwink:

It's only recent too. I first noticed Live a couple weeks ago. At that time it was ranked #1 on Alexa. It always used to be Yahoo #1, Google #2. Live seems to have come from nowehere to almost the top spot.

Well microsoft can put it on all the vista computers..
