CCBill Tax Reporting
I was wondering if anyone can give a definate answer on this. For the last few years when I report my taxes, I just list income as CCBill 1 and CCBill 2 for each master account that I have.
Does CCBill actually report income to the IRS or is it up to the sponsors themselves to do it and if so, should I report each sponsor's individual income ?? I'm just trying to keep my ass covered to keep the auditors away, ha ha. |
I guess nobody knows ?

I never got any forms from CCbill. You did?

I can't really offer any advice but I can tell you it is strictly up to you to report your income, we won't do it for you

I've always reported all earnings, even though my accountant thought I was crazy for doing so, ha ha. I always figure that it's better to be safe than sorry :) |
I have never known a 1099 to be sent out from CC Bill for website revenue that CC Bill processed. If no 1099 is sent, that generally means that the payment was not reported. As CC Bill is just processing and not paying for services, what they are doing is perfectly proper by not sending a 1099. However, the onus is on the recipient of the income to report that income and as was said above, it is much better to tell the truth up front than get caught under-reporting.

I've never received a W2, or 1099 from any company I do business with. Including Verotel, CCB, Paypal, C4S, etc. :2 cents: |
