Do you have a personal catch phrase or a word you overuse all the time?

I apparently say 'have fun' far too often. So, my BF will say something like 'I am a going to go wash the car' and I will say 'have fun'. I never really noticed how much I saw it until recently when my dad said it to me about something and then I figured out where I must get it from. I also went through a 'whatever' stage but I think that is required of teenage girls. My friends also make fun of me because for some reason I say 'darn tootin' now and then. I am pretty sure that started as a jokey thing to say and stuck.

My (soon to be) mother in law is always saying things are 'brilliant'.

Do you have a catch phrase or a particular word that you use so much people associate it with you?

munki 03-13-2008 12:45 AM

After Shock Media 03-13-2008 12:49 AM

Ditto, so I went ahead and killed it.

I know it's a joke since both are ancient history anyway, but I think that you are mixing up your battleships. Did you mean "Remember the Maine!"?

that's been the most overused phrase for the past couple of years - sports media can't discuss anything without somebody concluding 'it is what it is'

LauraLee 03-13-2008 08:28 AM

I use the word bitch rather frequently. As in: Bitch, what time is it?

Paco, of Large Cash. 03-13-2008 08:31 AM

absofabuloso!

TubeTitans_SusieQ 03-13-2008 09:54 AM

Take care ! and Supercalifragilisticespialidocious ;)

dready 03-13-2008 09:56 AM

I say 'like' too much.

Often when someone is leaving I'll say "Will I ever see you again?" Because it's so dramatic they never know what to say, lol.

Brother Bilo 03-13-2008 09:57 AM

Well, I'm pretty sure I'm running the words "dude" and "word" right into the ground. I use them pretty frequently.

AssPirate 03-13-2008 09:58 AM

My catchphrase is usually "I want some more" and I whisper it to the person while I try to embed a razor blade into his jugular.

cool1 03-13-2008 10:02 AM

CaptainHowdy 03-13-2008 10:03 AM

Rochard 03-14-2008 12:23 AM

I tend to say "YOU THINK?" a lot.... I got it from Steve Lightspeed.

Are you sure it is not "Boss"?
I have spoken with you a bit and it always pops out of your mouth.

AG_Downunder 03-14-2008 12:37 AM

I say it all the time - "Its all Good" - even when its not... :P

SomeCreep 03-14-2008 01:05 AM

Nah, that would be dumb. Only thing I do, is constantly define the words I use for people because no one knows what they mean. Words like enervate, garrulous, and didactic.

qxm 03-14-2008 01:10 AM

I doubt that two Americans out of 100 could explain what the Maine was and what war it's destruction precipitated.

Holly Lez! 03-14-2008 10:36 AM

I say "You aint never lied" to much oh and ugg

tyler (durden) 03-14-2008 10:43 AM

I say "word" probably a little too much.

my dad uses the phrases "point blank" and "plain and simple" so much I wanted to make a drinking game out of it at family gatherings. it annoys me to no end however.
