Is GFY going IP ban Kentucky?

"Kentucky lawmaker Tim Couch has proposed a bill that would criminalize anonymous Internet posting. Web site and forum operators would be forced to collect and publicly disclose identifying information about all of the visitors who post content on their sites. Failing to do so would lead to a fine of $500 for the first offense and $1,000 for each subsequent offense.

The bill, which extends Chapter 369 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes, would mandate collection of the complete name, mailing address, and e-mail address of all visitors who post Internet content. Web sites would have to display names next to all relevant content and establish procedures that enable anyone to obtain the rest of the information.

Couch?who says that he has been the victim of anonymous Internet criticism himself?"

they should call this bill the "I'm a pussy" bill.

omg you all, southern states try and pass laws all the time, it never goes through, it is more of a statement than anything

georgia tried to pass a law about 3-4 years ago that would make it illegal for women to get their vagina pierced

well of course it will get struck down. But doesn't the state of KY have more pressing issue that need to be dealt with than wasting time on a "statement"?

The only statement I see being made is "Hi I'm Tim couch and I'm a big fat pussy crybaby that can't take criticism. So I need to have that persons name and address so I can use my power as a government offical to take revenge at the guy who said I loved the cock....in my ass"
