Do you get depressed in the winter(stay inside much)
 

Sleazy's thread made me wonder since he lives over the 50th parallel. Might have to do with it... I know that I'm way less active with outdoors activities in the winter.

Depressed? No. Stir Crazy? A bit, yes.

Its been shown that people in places with more sun tend to be happier, and people are more gloomy in places where cloudy skies are common

Yeah, this weather is pretty depressing alright.

Higher suicide rates as well.

That is why people buy summer homes and why they migrate from one home to the next. Some people suffer very seriously with depression.

Many people do change light bulbs during the Winter and install full spectrum lighting. It does help lift the depression as well as your electric bill.

just stay home and watch TV or you may just tell her to post on this board.. she will not get bore at all.
