Something New for Girlfriend's Birthday
 

I was thinking of setting up something more "fun" as surprise for my girlfriend on her upcoming birthday, and thought I'd ask if someone has done anything that proved cool (or maybe you have a suggestion).

I would like to stay away from same old shit, like throwing a party and inviting friends over, or doing a romantic fucking dinner by the candles with a waiter with French accent, or "surprising" her with beaten to death old shit treatment aka spa massage and the such. Renting a room for a weekend in a secluded hotel in Jasper is also getting old.

I thought of possibly taking her for a helicopter ride. Does anyone have a better suggestion? Anything you have done in the past that was pretty "cool"?

Go for a balloon ride. More romantic.

Keep in mind some get air-sick very easily in helicopters.

A romantic dinner..and find peaceful place after that.. will be nice... :thumbsup

well, im a girl, but to be honest i can't give any idea about this one. maybe, we just want a simple and romantic date, that would be enough. As long as you're together. everything would be a good and memorable day for her. :)

hell yeah a couple years ago we got one of those huge blow up castles. It was actually for the kids but we kicked them out lol. Lots of drunken fun.

I'd always love to try those adrenaline rushing activities like bungee jumping, skydiving, para-gliding, snorkeling and mountain climbing. heh I must be diffrent with normal girls but those are really fun...

I used to go with friends before and do hiking and camping. Maybe you two can do that. :thumbsup

We're going wild water rafting in May. I'm forced to put up with that shit cause my girlfriend is crazy like that. It ends up being a lot of fun, but I'm not brave enough to do everyhting she can do... most of the time I end up looking like a complete chicken, cause she's insane and her boyfriend is too skeered :helpme

set up a 3 day cruise for her and her best gf. she won't see that coming. i like the idea on so many levels
