Cirtex Hosting - Just plain crap
 

OK I am starting this thread because I am so fed up with Cirtex hosting and their down time. I know there are other threads somewhere talking about how good other hosting companies are, but I wanted to start this thread for the people that use Cirtex hosting.

The following servers again are down today:

Itchy
Lucky
Cozy
Scratchy

All these are IL located servers. Who here is fucking tired of this crap?

I got an email today from them saying the HD crashed, does this mean we are losing our data again? does this mean the HD crashed on all these servers or on just one? Wtf Cirtex come on get your act together it's not fucking hard.

You can't advertise 99.9% uptime when your servers are down every week for some reason can you?

I think the term "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here.

How hard is it to manage 34 shared servers in the NJ and IL data centers? I hope this thread gives Cirtex the inspiration to make their service better. Also please take off the 99.9% guaranteed uptime statements on your site, this is false advertisement.

Let me guess Lucky right? It's the server that they always have problems with. I think around 6am this morning all those servers were down, turns out that the lucky server had a HD crash and is still down!.

That sucks. I've never heard of them.

Yeha server is still down and all their support tells you is that the admin is communicating with the DC about it.. And no I wouldn't promote them in your sig because they are shit crap. Who has the best shared hosting plans, support and uptime? Can anyone suggest a hosting company that actually has never had any downtime problems?

Cirtex Hosting are resellers for fdcservers.net.
FDC has cheap prices and worst support, but cirtex trys to get things done, its just FDC is no good. If you see low prices, most likely a resellser for FDC . I" had alot of down time with them and moved. Choopa is the way to go
