When did I become internet old?
 

How many people around here were bankin during the FIRST real .com bust? shit I was... I'll admit I'm new to the adult world but I've been in mainstream making money for 10yrs now!

You ever look back on your old projects and think WTF that was a LONG time ago.

If only I knew what I know now back then...

1) I'd have used those amazon affiliates WAY more, I got into that late but was banking $5k/mnth until one day google wiped them out of the search engines. How many of you even remember these?

2) would have gotten into newsgroup archiving with a forum hybrid site WAY earlier. At 1 point I was banking 10k/mnth off those :( Also got the google bitch slap eventually

3) Would have released the first version of my tube script 2yrs ago when I coded it instead of sitting on it for so long! Wouldn't have been very much competition back then. Or maybe instead of developing arcade software I'd have went straight for vids LOL

4) There's been literally a dozen different projects I've had with offers on the table for well into 6 figures but I road that particular market just too long just to sell for much less as its crashing down

5) would have taken CASH only options on various business sales instead of much smaller cash but stock options... shit guaranteed money in the bank trumps everything anybody can offer!

6) Wouldn't have gotten married the first time!

7) would have put all my money away instead of blowing it on hookers, strippers, cars and other fun things

I did some work in a BBS MUD way back in the day and helped put stats on the web for it... that was so long ago, I feel younger just thinking about it...

Too many what ifs..you just move forward and deal with it...hookers and blow rock

the net is not new anymore, it does seem like yesterday.
