Experienced Gallery promoters - Make some cash.
 

Well,

After a few days of gallery submitting with Russian Submitter, hand submitting 20 big ones (Richard's, Thumbzilla, etc) and $200 in content (not all yet used) and expenses I have a whopping 15,500 uniques 0:21 conversion rate.

It's not the uniques that I worry about - however the 21 "qualified" visitors to my adultplatinum sponsor kinda concerns me. I was estimating I would have 4-5 times that amount. Connversion also does not conernt me, because it is out of my hands once it goes to adult.com sites.

However I feel I need help in driving more traffic FROM my gallery to the sponsor.

21 / 15,500 = 1/740 click on sponsor.

I should be doing better than this, correct? By my calculations, at that rate, if I purchased a Hun spot, I could get 70,000/740 = <100 clicks. = 0, mabye 1 sale. Not worth my money.

It has me wondering if it is worth it to purchase content for galleries. My reasoning was that even if I got 1 subscription, the content would be paid for. Doesn't seem that is going to happen.

I paid someone in the know to design a gallery for me, and I have to say I'm really impressed with the design. Very happy with his work - excellent layout. an example gallery is at:

Mabye my content is not matching the site I'm promoting? Mabye the site is just not a big draw for most people? Who knows.

I guess I am still totally green here. Any advice help would be appreciated, and if anyone experienced had a few minutes to give me some advice (ICQ, Phone, etc.) I would be willing to pay for their time. You can contact me off thread at

There are going to be some that dispute what I am about to say. Submitting gallerys to TGP's is not the way to make money. Maybe at some point early in this business it was, but it isn't anymore. Don't waste your time on it. My :2 cents:

There is no money in porn. Go to www.monster.com and get a real job.

I kinda thought the same about RUNNING a tgp too, acrtually, but that is seeming quite attractive to me now.

This business is saturated with TGP's and my estimate is that 90% will not be very successful at making money.

Hmm... I wouldn't say that gallery design is all that great. First off in my opinion, there's too much hardcore there..

One could conceivably jerk to that gallery alone...I prefer a tease in a series...giving only one or two (if that) hardcore pics at the end...

Secondly, the middle text used is not really worth a damn...there's no call to action, there's no question posed, it relies on a poorly stated fantasy.

The lower text is a bit better, but it doesn't groove witht the pics you're showing.

As for over all design I don't feel the graphics LEAD anywhere...they don't draw the eyes to key points...they look pretty, but aren't productive.

Lastly, if you're gonna make money at galleries, you need at least a milion page views a week...15k a day ain't shit.
