No dude, you can't use it on your own kids.

Thats pretty old...
NOT DISSING YOU,,, But I remember it being on breakfast TV in 2005... They said that they were going toplay the 'noise'... Naturally I heard nothing, but 'Puppy Dawg' my young Boston.... Well her ears went up and she ran from the room like a mad thing !!!

On the other side of the fence, there are evidently also ringtones which have this very high pitch noise, which only kids can hear. Only, that story I mentioned was at least 4 years ago.

It can't be old, it's in the "News"! :1orglaugh

I would fucking hate that.

I remember a really annoying TV at this one class in college. One of the previous classes would leave the TV on the whole time. It made a really annoying high pitch sound.

Each day I would walk in to the classroom, grab an empty chair, stand on it to turn the TV off, put the chair back, and take my seat. The class thought I was weird but they got used to the ritual.

I can barely understand a shout as a mumble, but I can hear a CRT from 3 rooms away. Oh shit, it must be early onset autism!

That is retarded. They started putting those in buildings in The Bronx and the kids just shot them up.

Seems like they have a bigger problem than loitering, then.

That sound is really annoying man. And when you live on the first floor you hear it all the time.

In that case, this device is fucking obnoxious. Why would they put it anywhere around areas where people actually live? I could see putting a timer on an open non-public parking lot near bars, but otherwise?
